Black Like Me Reading Schedule
Before you start
reading, you need to be aware of some features of this book:
#1
It is a true story. The people really existed, and the events of
this book really happened.
Not
everything that happened is there, though. Some dates are
skipped.
#2 Because it is a book about Griffin’s very REAL
experiences, it is going to have some bad
language here
and there. There may also be some disturbing incidents.
#3 It is not organized by chapters, but rather by the dates
he made entries in his journal.
#4 Because this book (and the author’s experiment) is
centered around a set of social
problems, the
author spends some time exploring and explaining his perspective on
those
problems.
